In which Miss Tickle tries not to cry.
I am sad.
It is no good.
I have been pottering on the interweb for some time, and still, I am sad.
(Usually this works for cheering up.)
Please, tell me some wise things about boys and girls and arguing.
Please.
I have to stop now or I will cry. And I am working on reception at a mining company and it really would not do.

Don't be sad Miss Tickle. If boys and girls don't argue, then they don't get to find out new things about each other and learn new perspectives on life which would be shockin' dull if we all had exactly the same opinions about how to go about it. Plus when boys and girls argue they get to cry onto each other's cheeks until the tears mix and they find themselves closer than they ever were before.
shake your fists and things. then have a cup of tea
At least if you're arguing, you're communicating.
Something like that, anyway...
I agree with all the above.
Don't be sad.
If things are left unsaid then relationships get murky.
Arguements freshen things up and you can move on to the next bit knowing more about each other.
I am afraid I am useless person to ask on such matters. Utterly useless. However, I hope you don't cry ... if you do, since you're working on reception at a mining company, tell them you've got coal dust in your eyes.
You are all lovely. And Fiona you get the prize for accidentally making me cry while simultaneously being lovely.
I immediately fobbed those around me off by telling them I had just got coal dust in my eyes, then went and had a cup of tea.
Thank you. Rubbish days. I know once we have got over it, it will be fresher and better. It's just the bloody getting over it that's proving tricky. *shakes fists*
When these things pass, we reflect on them and wonder why the hell we put ourselves through all those emotions.
Arguments just aren't worth the breath, when it can be so much more rewarding to say something nice.
Hello bedshaped. You are right. Completely right. It is so much more rewarding to say something nice. Now, must just find a way to keep it in my head...
If it weren't for arguments there wouldn't be make-up sex.
That's sex to reconnect, not sex with blusher and lippy.
boys and girls and girls and boys and, well, everyone in the world argues some times... that doesn't make it any easier when it happens, but there are a lot of arguments. If both parties are willing to have a nice cup of tea together, that's always a start. Hopefully war wouldn't break out over the biscuits. But everyone has similarities and differences. Sometimes it's just worth working out what things you have in common and sharing some of them?
(sorry with the tardiness in relation to when this was posted. er. but good wishes!)
Hello miles away, thank you for dropping by. I think a nice cup of tea is a jolly good place to start. And forthwith it shall be an Important Argument-Stopping Tactic.
